Chris currently serves you as an elected member of the Washington State Senate and represents the 25th Legislative District. He is a 23-year Veteran Army Officer with a record of solving difficult problems while serving at home or abroad during his five overseas deployments.

He constantly emphasizes that “We must clearly identify the problem we are trying to solve before applying solutions.” Many politicians try to solve the outcome, such as homelessness, rather than the root causes of addiction, mental illness, and the overall high cost of living.

Chris understands that only when we fix the root causes can we then solve our problems. That's why he is working for treatment for addiction, more housing opportunities, affordable college, and lower costs for prescription drugs...especially for our most vulnerable citizens.

Chris wants to enact real solutions to the root causes of the issues we face and reverse the current trend rather than failed policies that simply treat symptoms.
